Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday with all 3 of my brothers and their loved ones. Unfortunately mom and dad couldn't make it this year, but we have lots of pictures to share to help them feel as if they were here with us. Most of my pics I posted to facebook, but decided to put a few here as well.

Cory's girlfriend, Kristen, gave Casey several hairstyles during the week, and this is one of them.

My man, Bran, home from Iraq in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas. So much fun with such a great family. It was a wonderful holiday season this year!

Better Late Than Never

A couple of weeks ago we took a trip to Branson with Brandon's mom. It was our first time to Branson, and we had a lot of fun. Our first stop was the Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum.

We also got to see the Dixie Stampede, but no pictures were allowed inside. This is everyone leaving the arena through the horse corral.

On the way home we enjoyed this beautiful double rainbow...this picture doesn't do it justice, it was gorgeous!

4th of july celebration in kansas city

we celebrated the 4th of july in kansas city with brandon's family this year. it was very bittersweet enjoying the company, but without brandon there to celebrate with us. i'm very proud of him.

4th of july celebration in nebraska

we had a wonderful 4th of july visit in kansas city with bran's side of the family and in nebraska with my brother pete's family. this is my newest nephew, jordan.
casey and kyla had a lot of fun with their cousin, jackson. he turned 2 while we were there!

we took at trip out to a berry farm with some good friends, and although it was extremely hot, even in the evening, we had a great time.

we had a wonderful visit this past week with pete, jenny, jackson, and the newest addition to the family, baby jordan.

vacation can be hard work! can't wait to see all 3 of my nephews and my niece next week....it will totally be worth all the the driving! love you guys!

week at grandma and grandpa's house

we drove up to spend a few days with brandon's parents. it was a much needed getaway! kyla and casey were "saving" bugs as they floated past in the pool. i'm pretty sure grandma would have just let them die.....poor bugs. they are probably eating her shrubs as we speak. too much fun for one backyard

casey spent a good part of the afternoon imitating "fred" from youtube. if you don't know fred, look him up.....hilarious. ummm, i just asked my kids how to spell "youtube" and they called me an old lady.....ok, on to the next caption.....
